2006-7: Under the name of the Oxfam group, in 2006, we sent members to the national Fair Trade conference and ran a coffee tasting at Drysdale TAFE for local restaurants. We ran a White Ribbon Day as part of the campaign against domestic violence. in 2007, we ran Close the Gap day.
In 2008, we formed the Fair Go group, widening our name and interests to include basically any social justice causes that interest students.
2008
We held a gathering for Close the Gap Day.
We campaigned to get Fair Trade coffee served on campus and held a stall at Multicultural Day.
In September 2008, we held a lunchtime forum on Child & Maternal Health, worldwide.
